Private residence, Indooroopilly

This large family home is located on a challenging suburban site for a professional couple and their four children. The architect designed house includes a parents retreat, a children’s zone and a guest wing.

The three storey construction is load bearing blockwork with a reinforced concrete floor slab and metal roof. Much of the outer brick skin is clad in quality sandstone with the remainder rendered.

The home is surrounded by extensive external works including a pool, spa and a one storey fountain as a back drop to the main entry space.

Alpine Construction worked closely with the architects to resolve detailing particularly with the timber work. A number of nominated sub-contractors were used on the project, in particular the Pool and Fountain Contractors and the Stone Cladding Contractors.
